Tuesday Treasures

>> Tuesday, December 16, 2008

I wanted to put up a treasure today. The last Tuesday Treasure I did involved Thanksgiving pictures ... since then I have found that a popular theme on one of my posts was something along the lines of how do you afford it all?

I had mentioned that you can still be cheap and have a lovely holiday. Don't believe me? ... I offer you proof from our Thanksgiving day meal:

I think I could make THAT kind of Thanksgiving meal. Why does the traditional one have to be so..burnable?

that idea needs to go directly to Martha Stewart! she would be so proud of you. you could be her special guest or something.

And with that you get turkey, pork, beef, chicken hor... well, let's just say you get plenty of animal scraps in that little dilly-o :)

We eat turkey dogs here in our house but this one looks a little different than ours.

Must be a new brand.

I will look for them when I am at Target getting my adult wipes that K-Dog recommended.

Oh my gosh you are hilarious :) I don't know how I got to your blog (click..click...click) but thanks for the fun! Pretty sure with our large family this holiday meal we bring Christmas in under budget!

Linda ... I checked your profile. You win :-) Now I know where to go for advice as we seemingly continue to add to our numbers.

If you have to go hot dog christmas ... just make sure it is Sabrett's or Nathan's ... they are the only rockstar sanctioned hot dogs :-)

Dude,

I LOVE Nathans!

Yes!!! Someone once told me... "No way man, Boars Head is the best" Well, I love Boars head meat don't get me wrong, but their franks taste like sausage... and I ain't diggin it. Give me a HOT-DOG please and make it a Nathan's! Especially tasty on the grill slightly charred! Haven't ever tried the other brand.

If you are diggin the Nathans ... trust me you will be diggin the Sabretts as well. Head over to your grocers eye, hoof, and intestine section and pull yourself out an 8 pack of those darlings ... delicious
